There is a communal laundry room and use of these facilities is included within the service charge. Please be aware that there will not be space for a washing machine within the flat.

Priority will be given to applicants who have a two bed need. If no one is found, a one bed need application will be considered as long as you do not incur the bedroom tax or our financial assessment deems that the property would be affordable.

A Housing management charge of £98.27 is charged per month for the visiting housing workers on site. This cost is covered by housing benefit but not universal credit eligible.

One months rent in advance required prior to sign up regardless of any housing benefit

Local connection criteria applies to Teignbridge. Successful applicants must have a connection in one of the following ways;

- To have lived within Teignbridge for 6 out of the past 12 months or 3 out of the past 5 years

- To have a permanent full or part time job (not seasonal & at least 16hrs) for the past 6 months within Teignbridge

- To have an immediate family member (Mother, Father, Brother, Sister, Son or Daughter) living within Teignbridge & have done for the past 5 years continuously

Successful applicants will be required to complete Westwards application form, provide proof of local connection, send in documentation to do a financial assessment & references will be applied for before a formal offer will be made.
